Sunday 22nd September, 2013

Competing against Gaelic Choirs from Cumbernauld, Govan, Oban, Taynuilt, and Tarbert the choir was delighted to be winners of the four-part competition and were presented with the Provost Archibald Brown Cup.

Nineteen members of the choir travelled to Lochgilphead to take part in the local Mod on Saturday October 21st and competed in the four-part mixed choral competition and the puirt-a- beul competition singing both the prescribed and their own choice pieces for the forthcoming Royal National Mod in Paisley.

An excellent day's work made complete with a visit to the 'chippie' in Inverary on the return journey.
